ABOUT US
Varitage Brew Works was founded by lifelong friends and neighbors Mark Costa and Neil Levine with one simple goal: build the brewery they always wished existed.

After years of brewing beer in his garage while working in digital advertising, Mark decided to turn a lifelong passion into a profession. Inspired by his Azorean Portuguese heritage, traditional brewing, and the culture that surrounds the beautiful game, he teamed up with Neil—his first taste tester, biggest supporter, and eventual business partner—to bring the vision to life.
What started as a dream between friends has grown into New Jersey's soccer-centric brewery, where heritage, craftsmanship, and community come together under one roof.
Every beer we brew, every match we show, and every supporter who walks through our doors helps write the next chapter of our story.

SOCCER IS IN OUR DNA.
For founders Mark Costa and Neil Levine, soccer has never been a marketing strategy—it has been a lifelong passion.
From playing and coaching to supporting clubs around the world, the game has shaped friendships, communities, and the values that built Varitage Brew Works. When it came time to create a brewery, there was never any question what it would stand for.

Today, Varitage proudly partners with supporters' groups, local clubs, and professional organizations across the region. We've collaborated with former professional players, hosted watch parties for the world's biggest tournaments, poured beer inside Sports Illustrated Stadium, and welcomed thousands of supporters through our doors for matches from every corner of the globe.
But our mission goes beyond showing games.

We believe soccer has the unique ability to bring people together regardless of language, background, or the club they support. Every pint, every matchday, and every conversation at the bar is another opportunity to build community through the beautiful game.
Soccer isn't our niche. It isn't a theme. It's our foundation. Every beer we brew, every match we host, and every supporter who walks through our doors is part of the culture we've set out to build. This is the home of soccer in New Jersey.
